Among them, black pepper reached\n218,299 tons, and white pepper reached 25,552 tons. The total export turnover\namounted to 828.9 million USD, with black pepper contributing 705.4 million USD\nand white pepper 123.5 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, the\nexport volume increased by 14.6%, but the export turnover decreased by 11.7%.\nThe average export price for black pepper over the 11 months was 3,571 USD per\nton, while white pepper was 5,081 USD per ton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main export markets for black pepper\ninclude:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>China: 59,073 tons,\naccounting for 24.2%.<\/li><li>United States: 48,059\ntons, accounting for 19.7%.<\/li><li>India: 11,801 tons,\naccounting for 4.8%.<\/li><li>UAE: 10,861 tons,\naccounting for 4.5%.<\/li><li>Germany: 8,448 tons,\naccounting for 3.5%.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The major markets for white pepper exports\nare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>United States: 3,433\ntons.<\/li><li>Germany: 3,117 tons.<\/li><li>China: 2,796 tons.<\/li><li>Netherlands: 2,379\ntons.<\/li><li>Thailand: 2,153 tons.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As of the end of November 2023, Vietnam has\nimported a total of 24,490 tons of various types of black pepper. Among these,\nblack pepper amounted to 22,954 tons, and white pepper amounted to 1,536 tons.\nCompared to the same period last year, the import volume has decreased by\n28.5%. Brazil, Cambodia, and Indonesia are the three primary countries\nsupplying black pepper to Vietnam, accounting for 62.6%, 14.3%, and 12.6%,\nrespectively.
