According to the preliminary statistics from VPSA, ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ 2023, ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ 20,227 ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ 17,833 ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ 2,394 ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐. The total export turnover reached 77.6 million USD, with black pepper accounting for 65.2 million USD and white pepper reaching 12.4 million USD. Compared to November, there was a 0.3% decrease in export volume and a 0.7% decrease in export turnover. The average export price of black pepper in December was 3,728 USD per ton, unchanged from November while white pepper reached 5,189 USD per ton, an increase of 112 USD from the previous month.
The United States continued to be the main export market for Vietnamese black pepper in December, reaching 6,212 tons, a 13.8% increase compared to November and accounting for 30.7% of the export market share. Following are the UAE with 1,271 tons, China with 1,030 tons and India with 1,011 tons.
